Write-on, Wipe-off
Do you write on your printed patterns while stitching? I do and I also check off the rows so I don't lose my place. Consider investing in a package of heavyweight clear plastic sheet protectors and a couple of Dry-Erase markers (extra fine point). You can write on the plastic and wipe it off when you are finished.
In addition to saving money on paper and printer ink, the sheet protectors are great for storing your patterns in a 3-ring binder.

2010 Beaded Quilt
We're starting out the new year by participating in the 2010 Breast Cancer beaded quilt project. The theme for this year is turtles. If you would like to join in, you can find the rules on Jeanette Shanigan's website: Shanigan's Bead Shenanigans. You don't need to be a bead weaver to participate, they have ideas to get you started. For those who don't have the time to create a pattern, squares are provided on the website. Hurry on over, the deadline is March 1st!
Happy New Year!
